adequate stay but needs major improvements
The building has charm and is well-maintained despite its age. The staff were friendly and accommodating during my visit.
The room was too small and uncomfortable for a family.

We loved the hotel’s charming atmosphere! The interior courtyard was a perfect spot for family photos, and my grandkids enjoyed splashing around in the outdoor pool. The cleaning staff did an excellent job keeping everything tidy and comfortable during our two-night stay.
My kids wished there were more kid-friendly meal options.

The rooftop terrace offers a lovely view, making it a wonderful spot to unwind with your own drinks. The hotel location is superb, close to restaurants and shops, yet surprisingly quiet. However, the room was uncomfortably dark, and WiFi was frustratingly slow. A couple of reception staff could benefit from better guest interaction skills.

Had a great time with friends! We loved the outdoor pool and the view from the rooftop was a highlight. Also, we enjoyed the local tapas at a nearby bar. Remember, it's a busy place, so pack your patience for some noise at night!
Unfortunately, the beds were pretty uncomfortable, and I noticed some outdated facilities which could use a refresh. It made it tough to fully enjoy our stay despite the fun atmosphere.

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Santiago De Compostela. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Guadalajara's old town. My room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had three balconies overlooking the plaza, which made for a lovely view. The rooftop pool was refreshing after a day of exploring. The staff were incredibly friendly and helped organize a tequila tour, which was a highlight of my trip. On the downside, noise from the street was noticeable, especially at night. The air conditioning in the room felt a bit stuffy, and I would have appreciated more natural light. Also, the dining options could be improved—breakfast was fine, but the other meals were lackluster. I wish I could have enjoyed coffee in the room too.
